NUANCES won in the Residential Flooring category at the NCYxDESIGN Awards and is the latest collaboration from Patricia Urquiola for GAN, consisting of three rugs and a Pouf made from wool felt. The collection brings the brand ethos to life by researching materials and processes to obtain new textures and develop techniques to help evolve craftmanship.
Patricia Urquiola reinvents this natural material by modifying the traditional manufacturing parameters. Playing with different colours and densities of wool. Patricia has created stone-like agglomerate that combines vertical lines with exposed seams that accentuate the artisan character of each piece.
NUANCES consist of three rugs with three different patterns (curves, lines and round) and a pouf which can obtain different compositions. NUANCES use three colour options that, always start from stone grey and take us towards three natural colour palettes; Rose and Burgundy, Green and Blue, and Earth and Lava.
